Labor Day Weekend Food

Saturday I made an enchilada casserole with ground turkey meat and chile verde sauce.  I figure the flavors are the same whether the tortillas are rolled up or not.  Turkey was cooked with oregano, cumin, onion and garlic.  Layers consisted of meat, beans, sauce and cheese.  It was quite lovely.

Labor day burger!  Ground turkey meat was mixed with thyme, Dijon, onion powder and Worcestershire sauce.  I sauteed some onions as a condiment.  Burger was then topped with avocado and pepper jack cheese.

Meal was rounded out with Maui Onion chips and a pickle.  I'm going to a BBQ later this evening but I am quite full with just this meal.
