Time continues to fly by. Hard to believe it's already been 6 years. In her honor, we continue the tradition of making & eating pizza with black olives. :) Greg tried a new dough recipe for thin crust. It turned out super well. While he went to work, he put the dough in the fridge and I finished the pizza before he got home. As it was a thin crust, it only took 8 minutes to cook in a 500 degree oven. I'm sure we'll be making this again.

Sunday Dinners
I usually go to my friend's house for dinner after church. If we've actually prepared ahead of time, meals look like this. :)
Pork roast with homemade gravy, mashed potatoes and peas. |
I also discovered a 'new' restaurant in Fremont called Petite Cafe. It's a crepes place and the dessert crepe I ate was delicious!
5 crepes with Nutella, raspberries, strawberries, and whipped creme. |

Another Birthday
I cannot believe I only posted once last year! Though in my defense, it was a busy year. I finished graduate school and started a new job which I enjoy very much. My birthday was last month and Greg was kind enough to make a Filet Mignon dinner for me. :) The pictures are from my cell phone so that explains their quality.
The filet was accompanied by roasted potatoes, salad, mushrooms, and sourdough bread. |
He also made the cake and frosting from scratch! I have a good brother that enjoys cooking which is good as I enjoy eating. :) |
I also received two more chocolate cakes during the month of January for my birthday. Yes, I am that predictable.
Here's to another great year in 2014!
